However, according to the Herald Sun, he was arrested following the meet.
And following a police charge, he immediately had his riding licence suspended indefinitely as his career hangs in the balance.
It is understood Huxtable was charged under section 227A of the Queensland Criminal Code following an alleged complaint made against him by a young female relating to a breach of privacy.
The act states it is illegal for a person to observe or visually record another person in a situation where a reasonable adult would be expected to be afforded privacy.
The alleged incident reportedly took place at horse racing’s Cairns Cup Carnival in August.
Huxtable is set to appear at court on November 18.
The report adds the maximum penalty for the offence is three years in prison.
Huxtable pleaded guilty in 2022 to a charge of sexual assault.
In November 2020, he was accused of sexually assaulting a stripper and biting her breast while on a night out.
The jockey received a two-month prison sentence, ordered to pay £500 in compensation to his victim and was suspended for nine months.
Upon suspending Huxtable’s licence following Friday’s arrest, the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission chief Catherine Clark said: “QRIC’s role is to maintain the integrity of racing so the jockey will be stood down from all further racing-related activities until further notice.”
He was due to ride at Townsville next weekend.
Huxtable, the 2021 Queensland Apprentice Jockey of the Year, has earned 419 career race wins and racked up more than £6million in prize money.
In 2022, he humiliated himself by standing out of his saddle to celebrate a win – and took a tumble off his horse, then got slapped with a three-week ban.
