Josh Allen’s Wife Hailee Steinfeld Turns Heads in ‘Niche’ Halloween Costume

The Buffalo Bills look to keep the winning momentum going when they host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9. After two consecutive losses, Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Co. bounced back with a 40-9 win over the Carolina Panthers.

“Anytime you’re playing against a good team and a good quarterback, you have to play at the top of your game in order to win a football game,” Allen told reporters on Wednesday.

“There’s a heightened sense of awareness to understanding who is on the other side of the football. Our goal is to try and score on every single drive, and that’s what we try to do.”

The Chiefs are on a roll following their 28-7 win over the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football, marking Kansas City’s third straight victory. While Allen and the Bills studied tape of Patrick Mahomes and Co. throughout the week, they didn’t watch the Commanders-Chiefs game live, as it was the same night as their annual Halloween party.

Last year, Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, hosted the Bills’ Halloween party. Steinfeld went all out, hiring a costume designer for their Circus-themed outfits. She noted in her newsletter, Beau Society, at the time, “Josh and I never considered ourselves to be big Halloween people.” However, after hosting “the best night ever… now, I think we’re into Halloween (?)”

Turns out the enthusiasm didn’t quite stick. Two days before the Chiefs-Bills showdown, the Oscar-nominated actress revealed her last-minute costume.

Josh Allen & Hailee Steinfeld Picked Their Costume Just Hours Before the Bills’ Halloween Party

In the latest issue of Beau Society, Steinfeld gushed over seeing people dress up as her character, Mary, from the movie “Sinners.”

The 28-year-old thought it was such a good idea, she did the same following a “last-minute scramble” two hours before the party started. “But an even more niche and specific idea: Mary from the ‘90s! High-waisted jeans, leather jacket, high pony, lollipop (Blow Pop?). Just a thought,” she wrote.

While Steinfeld didn’t reveal if Allen went as the 90s version of Stack, Mary’s love interest in the horror film played by Michael B. Jordan, she did share a throwback of the famous couple’s outfits from two years ago.

Allen and Steinfeld dressed up as Bobby Bouche and Vicki Vallencourt from “The Waterboy.” Steinfeld wrote of planning this costume, “Very last-minute, and easy, easy.”

Josh Allen Calls Wife, Hailee Steinfeld, ‘The Most Fulfilling Thing In His Life’

While Allen is the league’s reigning Most Valuable Player and signed a new six-year, $330 million contract with a record-breaking $250 million guaranteed before the season started, all these accomplishments pale in comparison to marrying Steinfeld.

When asked what the most fulfilling part of his life is right now, “My wife,” Allen said. “My wife is an unbelievable and undeniable rockstar in her work. In her life as a person — she’s everything I need in my life.”

The love and admiration are reciprocated. In an interview earlier this month, Steinfeld spoke about how her life changed after marrying the 29-year-old quarterback. “What we do is so unpredictable, and his job is on such a strict schedule,” Steinfeld told Variety.

“So it’s actually a blessing — I try to organize my time so I can be where he is. This time of year, I get to hunker down, slow down, support him, and live life. When the offseason rolls around, it’s go-time for me.

“I’ve never lived this part of life before — outside of my work. I’ve gotten a lot better at understanding what it means to slow down and to share that with someone. That’s the greatest thing ever.”
