Laura Woods attacked by midges live on ITV while presenting England vs Slovakia coverage at Euro 2024

LAURA WOODS managed to stay cool as she was attacked by midges ahead of England’s Euro 2024 clash with Slovakia.

The ITV presenter was on the pitch in Gelsenkirchen for the round of 16 tussle.

But Woods, 36, offered further coverage from the stadium.

Introducing the segment, Woods said: “We’ve made our way into the centre circle.

“Vindaloo’s been playing in the background, we’re getting attacked by midges as well.

“But I have to say, the atmosphere in the stadium has really lifted now Kaz.”

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford appeared to hurt his left wrist during the warm-up.

Pickford then got back to his feet and was seen talking to a physio on a member of the England coaching setup.

The Everton stopper was hugged by deputy Aaron Ramsdale after the incident.

But he was able to shake off the injury to start the match.
