Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong have both arrived in defence, while the Reds spent a club-record fee to sign midfielder Florian Wirtz from Bayern Leverkusen.
The next priority would appear to be a replacement centre-back after Jarell Quansah joined joined Leverkusen in a deal worth £35m.
The Merseyside club still have Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konate, but questions linger over Gomez’s long-term fitness issues while Konate is out of contract next summer and has been linked with an exit.

Guehi has emerged as their top target after captaining Palace to their best ever Premier League season and FA Cup glory in 2024/25 and, according to The Sun, the Reds will submit a one-time offer of £40m for the 25-year-old.
Arsenal are also interested in the centre-back who has entered the last 12 months of his contract and was the subject of big-money bids from Newcastle and Tottenham last season

Guehi is said to not be pushing for a move this summer, but also has no intentions of signing a new deal to extend his stay at Selhurst Park.
Palace, therefore, may look to cash in on their captain this summer to avoid him leaving on a free at the end of next season.
The Eagles are also bracing themselves for a bid for talismanic midfielder Eberechi Eze, who has a £68million release clause.
Eze is said to be prefer a move to Arsenal, with the Gunners still sizing up a bid as they plot more attacking reinforcements this summer.
But Liverpool have also been linked with a potential move for the 27-year-old, although it remains to be seen whether the Merseyside club would prioritise other signings given the previous signing of Wirtz.
