Luke Littler returns to action at the PDC World Darts Championship tonight as he resumes his bid to make history at Ally Pally.

Following his sensational run to the final on debut last year, the teenage sensation arrived as the pre-tournament favourite this time around.

The Nuke has not been at his best so far this tournament but wins over Ryan Meikle and Ian White have safely secured his place in the round of 16.

And following the shock exit of defending champion Luke Humphries on Sunday, Littler’s chances of becoming the youngest-ever world champion have taken a huge boost.

Ahead of his round-of-16 tie against Ryan Joyce tonight, here’s everything you need to know about his next match, including what time the clash starts and how to watch along on TV.

Littler will return to the PDC World Darts Championship 2025 tonight as he faces off against after World No.33 Joyce for a spot in the quarter-finals.

Joyce, regarded as one of the best double-hitters in the game, produced impressive second and third-round performances to beat Danny Noppert and Ryan Searle and reach this stage of the competition for the first time since 2019.

Littler is once again headlining the action in the evening session and will be the final match after the Stephen Bunting vs Luke Woodhouse and Michael van Gerwen vs Jeffrey de Graaf clashes.

While the start time will vary depending on the duration of the previous two matches that evening, Littler is expected to be on stage sometime around 9:45pm GMT.

Who will Luke Littler play in the quarter-finals if he beats Ryan Joyce?

Should Littler progress, then he would be in the quarter-finals and face either Nathan Aspinall or Ricardo Pietreczko for a spot in the final four.

But speaking ahead of tonight’s clash, Littler was keen to not take anything for granted.

‘I know I can do a lot better, but in set-play, it’s all about winning,’ said the tournament favourite. ‘I was happy with my performance scoring-wise [against White].

‘My doubles need to be a bit better, but as soon as I won that first set tonight, I felt settled.

‘I’m expecting the same old Ryan, hitting his doubles first or second time, but I just need to take the opportunities when I can.’
