Luke Littler has revealed how he’ll spend his winnings after clinching the PDC World Darts Championship title at Alexandra Palace on Saturday.

The English teenager thrashed Gian van Veen 7-1 in the final to become back-to-back champion, earning a whopping £1,000,000 in prize money.

Littler, tipped to follow in Phil Taylor’s footsteps and dominate the sport for years to come, wants to spend a portion of the £1m on collectable football cards.

The 18-year-old, nicknamed ‘The Nuke’, is a huge Manchester United fan and is keen to ‘treat’ himself ‘to a few boxes’ as his first priority.

Littler wants Panini cards and Topps cards

‘I’m into football cards at the minute so I might have to treat myself to a few boxes,’ Littler, ranked world No.1 in darts, said.

‘Just a few. Panini cards, Topps cards, anything. It’s Angry Ginge’s fault really, he got me into Whatnot.

‘You bid and they will open a box and then they say you get Cristiano Ronaldo, you get a Ronaldo card. I will treat myself to that.’

Littler is not planning to upgrade the £39,000 BMW he bought ten months after winning at Ally Pally in 2025 due to the cost of insurance.

‘I will have to get a year on the insurance before changing that one,’ Littler added.

Littler ended the year with over £2m in prize money and he’s now hoping to hit £3m mark.

‘Obviously, it’s a lot of money,’ he continued. ‘I’m the first player to break the £2million mark.

‘Hopefully, I can try and get up to £3million.

‘Obviously, the money’s there. I’ve said it before in the past, us as a family we’ve never had this sort of money.

‘So, I’m not going to go and waste it. I’m not going to change. I’m not going to start buying stuff. I’ll just stay as I am.

‘I don’t need to change. This is me as I am. Even when I’m at home, I’m the same person.

‘I’m just a darts player at the end of the day. People call me a celebrity but I’m just a boy living his dream.’
