Littler was spotted on several occasions looking over to the family section at Ally Pally, where dad Anthony, mum Lisa, sister Caitlin and brother Leon were watching from.

His father kept a lid on his emotions throughout the final and The Nuke has revealed that looking at his him controlled his nerves.

Littler said: “My dad looked so settled throughout the game. When I was looking over to him, he didn’t look nervous.

“So I knew myself that if he is not nervous then I just need to play with freedom.

“I look at everyone who’s there. But he is probably the main one.

“He said that he was not nervous but at 4-0, he started to get that feeling in his stomach.”

Anthony, who works as a taxi driver, then joined his son on stage to celebrate his glory.

The family were then spotted leaving Ally Pally all smiles, with Littler generously handing his brother Leon a wad of cash.

It was perhaps a gift from the £500,000 he won as it is his older sibling’s birthday next week.

Asked by SunSport if Luke would be joining him on a night out to celebrate, Leon joked: “Can’t do much with him, can you! He’s 17.

“He’ll go out, chill on his game, maybe order some food.

“I’ll do the celebrating for him.”

Littler instead headed straight to bed with the Sid Waddell trophy when arriving back home in Warrington.

And he hilariously copied an iconic snap of Lionel Messi asleep with the World Cup.
