Ruben Amorim is hopeful Leny Yoro only suffered a ‘small’ foot injury in Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat to West Ham.
Yoro continued his run in the side as United dropped to 16th with a second successive loss in the Premier League, with Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen inflicting the damage at Old Trafford.
But the 19-year-old centre-back went down in a heap off the ball in the 52nd minute and appeared close to tears as he hobbled his way straight down the tunnel.
Amorim had his head in his hands as the concerning episode played out, with Harry Maguire sent on in place of the young Frenchman at the heart of United’s defence.
The teenager would have been expected to start the Europa League final against Spurs having established himself as a first-team regular – and Amorim may be forced to rethink his preparations for the all-important contest.

Luke Shaw – who has experience of playing in a three-man defence – was immediately withdrawn following the injury, hinting to Amorim’s possible thinking should Yoro be ruled out for Bilbao.
‘We have to assess Leny in a better way tomorrow,’ Amorim told reporters at his post-match press conference.

‘He felt something, but I think it could be a small thing.’
Turning his attentions to United’s lacklustre performance against the Hammers, a visibly frustrated Amorim blasted his side’s distinct lack of ‘urgency’.
‘I think it’s quite similar to some games we had here, against Wolves it was a little bit the same,’ the United head coach said.
‘We create more chances than the opponent but the lack of urgency to protect our goal in the few times that West Ham was near our box… we had a lack of urgency.’

Amorim added: ‘We were near the box and we had a lack of urgency. We need to be more aggressive.
‘If you cannot score in the first ball, the second ball, if we cross the ball and are aggressive, we can score.
‘We had a lack of pace, we have to do so much better and for me the biggest concern is that feeling that it is okay: we cannot change our position so much so it is okay.
‘That is the biggest problem in this club at the moment because we are losing the feeling of a massive club. It’s the end of the world to lose a game at home. I think that is the biggest concern in our club.’
Asked how he feels when looking at United’s league position, Amorim replied: ‘How the manager of Manchester United is supposed to feel in that position: embarrassed.
‘It’s hard to accept and everybody has to think seriously about a lot of things here.
‘Everybody is thinking about the final. The final is not the issue in this club, we have bigger things to think and we have to change a lot of things in the end of the season.’
