United are continuing to monitor and assess the centre-half who has arguably been their best player this season but there is no indication as to when he will be available again.
Harry Maguire is another who has not returned to training this week and is set to miss out this evening. The former captain has not played since the 2-2 draw with Tottenham in early November due to a hamstring issue.
Benjamin Sesko has also not featured since limping off late on in that 2-2 draw in north London with a knee injury.

The former RB Leipzig star has returned to light training on grass with suggestions last week he could even make the squad tonight. That would loosely fit the timeline Amorim provided last month having been hopeful his striker would be back around the time other key personnel are departing for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Sesko suffered from food poisoning last week but Amorim did not rule out the possibility of the striker making his return tonight.

Elsewhere, United still hope to have Amad Diallo, Bryan Mbeumo and Noussair Mazraoui available before they depart for AFCON.
Shea Lacey has been on the United bench for the last four games and could get his chance when Amad and Mbeumo do depart.

Plenty will rest on the final decision on Amad, Mbeumo and Mazraoui but if all three are available they will surely start on Monday.
Mason Mount’s excellent performance against Wolves should ensure he starts again. Amorim could opt for the same starting XI that got the job done at Molineux although he may be tempted to bring Lisandro Martinez in for his first start since February should he feel the need the rest Luke Shaw.
