Marcus Rashford has received a fresh transfer approach as the Manchester United forward holds out on his ‘dream move’ to Barcelona, according to reports.
Rashford appears to have no future at United under Ruben Amorim after a falling out between the pair saw the Englishman spend the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old enjoyed a productive loan spell at Villa and Unai Emery’s side have an option to sign Rashford for £40 million.
However, it is believed that Rashford is looking to join a Champions League club, with Barcelona is his preferred destination.
Rashford’s brother, Dwaine Maynard, has held talks with Barcelona’s sporting director Deco at a hotel in the city.

However, a potential deal has hit a stumbling block, with Barca keen for an initial loan deal despite United’s preference to sell Rashford outright this summer.
Such an impasse may force Rashford to consider options elsewhere, with The Sun reporting that Inter Milan could be one such club to offer the England international a fresh start outside of England.

The Serie A giants, who suffered a heavy defeat in Saturday’s Champions League final, are keen on the high-profile move to kickstart their summer business.
Inter, like Barcelona however, may initially prefer a long deal with a move to making the switch permenant further down the line.

Rashford, though, is reportedly keen on the move with a source telling the publication: ‘Lots of players have made the move from the Premier League to Serie A in recent years and performed very well.
‘That’s why the idea of such a switch excites both the player and Inter.’
Inter are facing a big rebuild this summer, especially following the departure of head coach Simone Inzaghi, who has agreed to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
United, meanwhile, are looking to refresh their attacking options, with Jadon Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho among those expected to leave alongside Rashford this summer.
In their place, United have already moved to bring in Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha, and the Red Devils are primed to make further attacking reinforcements after Bryan Mbeumo signalled his desire to move to Old Trafford.
