Lando Norris, the 25-year-old Formula One driver from Bristol, England, shocked his fellow McLaren driver Oscar Piastri in the Belgian Grand Prix qualifiers on Saturday, taking pole position for Sunday’s race by just 0.085 seconds over his Australian teammate.
Norris will be driving for his third consecutive victory on the F1 circuit this season, and fifth overall in 13 races, after taking the trophy in front of his home fans in the British Grand Prix on July 6, holding off a late charge from Piastri.
One week earlier, Norris also got the better of Piastri, winning the Austrian Grand Prix for another McLaren one-two finish.
But even casual F1 fans, or viewers who are not F1 racing fans at all but appreciate reality TV, will feel like they know Norris from the Netflix behind-the-scenes docu-series Drive to Survive.
What they may not know is that he is dating a Portuguese supermodel in what has apparently been an on-again, off-again relationship.
Here’s what you need to know about Lando Norris’s 22-year-old girlfriend, Margarida Corceiro.
Corceiro and Norris First Seemingly Dated in 2023
The supermodel and the six-year F1 veteran were first spotted together in public in 2023. According to a report by The Daily Mail, “Formula 1 star Lando Norris has reportedly been spotted driving Joao Felix’s girlfriend Margarida Corceiro around Monaco, amid reports in Portugal that she has split from the Chelsea star.”

While Corceiro would soon confirm that she had broken up with soccer star Felix, Norris was also coming off a recently ended relationship at the time. He had been previously involved with another model, also from Portugal, Luisinha Oliveira.
Corceiro is Also a Film and TV Actress
Though she will not even turn 23 years old until October 26, Corceiro is already an experienced actress, mostly in Portuguese television and films. She made her debut in 2019 in the Portuguese telenovela â what would be called a “soap opera” in the United States â Prisioneira. Starting in 2024, she took a lead role in another telenovela in her native country, A Fazenda (The Farm).
According to IMDB.com, the fast-rising star has appeared in 172 episodes of the show.
She is an Instagram Star
Following the example of numerous other models, Corceiro has built her global fandom through Instagram. As of Sunday, her account claimed 2.1 million followers, and features the usual array of modeling shots, casual selfies and magazine covers on which she has appeared.
She Founded a Swimsuit Company
Corceiro and her cousin, makeup artist Marta Matias, are partners and co-founders of the Portuguese swimsuit maker Missus Swimsuits. According to the company’s own website, the company “is a beachwear brand that stands out for its fusion of quality, sophistication, and comfort, designed to give contemporary women a unique sense of confidence, whether at the beach or by the pool.”
Missus also makes a point of being devoted to “local and sustainable production” of its swimsuits.
Corceiro and Norris Broke Up Last Year, But Are Back Together
According to a report by the British tabloid The Sun, the international power-couple split in August, 2024.
“Lando and Margarida had a fun time together and hung out a lot,” a source cited by the tabloid said. âBut it wasnât working out so they cooled off. Heâs free and single and just wants to focus on his sport.â
But as recently as May 25, Corceiro was spotted with Norris’s parents at the Monaco Grand Prix, which turned out to be the driver’s second victory of the 2025 F1 season. On June 2, she was seen again at the Spanish Grand Prix in Bercelona, and this time the official F1 television network named her as Norris’s “partner.”
In that race, Norris finished second, edged out by his teammate Piastri.
