The Green Bay Packers are coming off their biggest win of the season after getting the best of Caleb Williams and the division rival Chicago Bears in Week 14 at Lambeau Field. It was a thrilling game that came down to the wire, but Jordan Love and company were able to secure the win and, as a result, are now sitting atop the NFC North division with a record of 9-3-1.
Although it was a massive win for the Packers, the battle for the NFC North crown is far from over, as they’ll have to play the Bears one more time in Chicago in Week 15. That said, the team will want to be as healthy as possible heading into that matchup at Soldier Field.
Packers’ Matt LaFleur Provides an Update on Dontayvion Wicks

One of the main concerns for the Packers heading into Week 14’s showdown on the road against Sean Payton’s Denver Broncos is the health of wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks, who is currently dealing with an ankle injury.
The Packers may have Jayden Reed back on the field with Christian Watson back to form after a two-touchdown performance against the Bears. Still, Wicks remains on the mend, with head coach Matt LaFleur giving the following update on the talented wideout’s ankle issue on Monday during media availability.
“He’s been battling through that, and I would say it is day-to-day,” LaFleur said of Wicks. “He was limited in practice, so we’ll see how he progresses. But certainly we need him out there.
“He’s a guy, you could see it early in the routes he was running. There was one in particular, might’ve been the first play of the game, where Jaylon Johnson is pressed on him, and his ability to get a guy to move off the spot is pretty impressive.
Although LaFleur admits that the Packers need Wicks on the field, the team does have the benefit of Watson playing at a high level and Reed returning, which bodes well for the team’s chances to get a fifth straight win on Sunday on the road against the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.
Packers Face Another Tough Challenge in Week 14 vs. Broncos

After a much-needed divisional win over the Bears, the Packers will get back to work on the road on Sunday against the 11-2 Broncos.
Denver is one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now, as Bo Nix and company have won 10 straight coming into this matchup with the Packers. It’ll be a clash between two division leaders and potentially a Super Bowl preview.
Despite this game being played in Denver and the Broncos riding an impressive win streak, the Packers are currently favored (-2.5) as of Tuesday to get the win in hostile territory.
It will be another tough test for LaFleur’s squad, with the Broncos’ defense being among the best in the league. They have given up the third-fewest yards (3,666) in the league so far this season, trailing only the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans.
