The rising star hit his first 180 aged THREE and has racked up an astounding 450 maximums since then.

Lennon has already signed on for Target Darts – the same brand that represents teenage phenom Littler, as well as Rob Cross and Raymond van Barneveld.

His father, Gary, told BBC Radio Suffolk: “He’s calm, he takes it all in his stride – win or lose – and gets on with it.

“It’s hard when you’re watching because you can’t do anything when he’s on the stage.

“You’re just hoping that he hits the double to win the game. You’re a bag of nerves.”

Local darts legend Keith Deller has visited the Wharfs’ house to take on Lennon.

And the whizkid also faced 2008 world champion Mark Webster aged eight.

He said: “I just play the board, not the player.”

Darts has exploded in popularity since Littler reached the World Championship final aged 16.

He has since gone on to win the Premier League.

Lennon has set his sights on going one better than Littler and dominating the sport.

He said: “You want to win three or four maybe to actually remember it.

“I want to win at least three.”
