There was big Travis Kelce news on December 22, as the NFL provided an update on fan Pro Bowl balloting, which listed the Kansas City Chiefs superstar No. 1.
NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero revealed the results on X, noting that “Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, for the second consecutive season, led all players in fan balloting for the Pro Bowl Games, followed by Josh Allen, Drake Maye, Caleb Williams and Kevin Byard.”
2025 would be Kelce’s 11th career Pro Bowl season, although it might be the first he actually attends in quite some time, considering Kansas City is usually focused on a deep playoff run.
Per Pelissero, “player selections for the Pro Bowl Games are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches, with each group’s vote counting as one-third toward determining the all-star players who will be selected to this year’s Pro Bowl Games.”
“NFL players and coaches voted on Friday,” the insider added. “The AFC and NFC player rosters for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games will be announced [on December 23] at 10 a.m. ET.”
In case you were wondering, fan voting has concluded already. It ended on Monday, December 15.
Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Tops Bills’ Josh Allen by Over 150,000 Votes in NFL Pro Bowl News
GettyKansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce remains beloved by NFL fans.
Kelce didn’t just win the fan vote; he absolutely demolished all competition.
According to a press release sent out by NFL Communications, Kelce finished with 420,383 fan votes. Next up behind him was the aforementioned Buffalo Bills quarterback, Allen, who received 263,127 votes. That’s more than 150,000 votes between the two, which shows Kelce’s popularity around the sport.
The numbers level out after Allen, too. The New England Patriots’ rising star quarterback, Maye, was just behind Allen at 259,978 votes, and Williams was third with 216,838 votes.
Behind those four was the first non-QB besides Kelce, and the first defensive player overall.
Chicago Bears safety, Byard, received a nice total of 203,638 fan votes. This puts Kelce over 215,000 votes clear of the next non-QB on the list.
