The Las Vegas Raiders are heading into their final game of the 2025 NFL season against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18 on Jan. 4 at Allegiant Stadium. Nonetheless, before this contest, one player on the Chiefs’ side is getting bad news for his actions in Week 17.
On Jan. 3, the NFL announced its Gameday Accountability report, which included Kansas City’s Kingsley Suamataia. As part of the fine process, players are notified of violations and may appeal any ruling.
Appeals officers and former NFL players hear cases, Derrick Brooks, Ramon Foster or Jordy Nelson, who are jointly appointed and paid by the NFL/NFLPA. Moreover, the decisions made are final and binding.
Regarding Suamataia, the Chiefs’ player received a fine for his actions at the 12:49-minute mark of the second quarter in the game against the Denver Broncos. Suamataia committed an unnecessary roughness infraction after striking, kicking, tripping, or kneeing an opposing player. As a result, the NFL is fining him $8,108.

Nonetheless, Suamataia isn’t the only player heading into the Chiefs-Raiders game who received a fine from the league. The report also featured two Las Vegas players: Tommy Eichenberg and Jonah Laulu.

Devin White Talks Travis Kelce Before Chiefs-Raiders Game
Furthermore, this Chiefs-Raiders game could be the last in the career of tight end Travis Kelce. With that in mind, Raiders linebacker Devin White spoke about facing the veteran and commented on his illustrious career.
“Overall, he’s the best,” White said about Kelce (h/t Vegas Sports Today). “I think he’ll go down as the best ever in the game. Maybe a long time [from now], somebody can pass him… I feel like he take the cake with just his saveness, being able to get open. The emotion, the swagger that he plays with. I think that helps him along the way.
“It just shows you why he’s a fan favorite. He’s able to accumulate the Super Bowls, All-Pros, and Pro Bowls to go down as a Hall of Famer. So it’ll be good. If it’s his last game, I don’t know. But it’ll be good to play against him and be able to compete because one thing about him, he’s a competitor on the field. It’ll be good to go against him.”
