Novak Djokovic looked ‘unhappy’ in his four-set Wimbledon victory over Britain’s Jacob Fearnley and was seen shushing the crowd on Centre Court.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion was irked during the second set, third set and fourth set of his second-round win against Fearnley at the All England Club.
The main incidents occurred in the fourth set, with Djokovic at one point turning to the crowd and dramatically shushing them as they backed the British No.13.
That came after Djokovic saved a second break point with an overhead smash at the net in what had become an incredibly feverish atmosphere.
The second seed, a seven-time Wimbledon winner, also slammed the umpire for not kicking out a disruptive fan in the fourth set.
With the British crowd firmly supporting the 22-year-old from Edinburgh – who is ranked outside the world top 200 and impressively won the third set against Djokovic by a score of 7-5 – the 37-year-old took issue with one fan in particular.
‘How is he not out?’ Djokovic angrily shouted at the umpire at a change of ends, referencing a troublesome spectator who appeared to be putting him off.

Those were not the only incidents of the match with Djokovic also visibly frustrated in the third set and second set.
Djokovic was seen chuntering away and shrugging his shoulders towards his box after Fearnley smashed an impressive forehand winner.
Meanwhile, after he forced Fearnley into an error to go two sets and a break up, he unleashed two massive roars, the second attracting whistles from the crowd.
Speaking during the second set, former GB Davis Cup captain John Lloyd told the BBC: ‘Jacob Fearnley is in this match. He was in the first set the whole time and Novak Djokovic had to play well to win that set.
‘Fearnley looks like he has belief in himself. I love his attitude, very aggressive. Djokovic doesn’t look that happy out here.’
