Oleksandr Zinchenko has been dropped for Ukraine’s crucial final Euro 2024 group game against Belgium on Wednesday, while Mykhailo Mudryk will miss the game altogether.

Ukraine currently sit bottom of Group E but are level on three points with leaders Romania, Belgium and Slovakia.

Serhiy Rebrov’s side were beaten 3-0 by Romania in their opening group game but bounced back with a 2-1 win over Slovakia last Friday.

And for Ukraine’s clash against Belgium, Rebrov has made three changes with Zinchenko dropping to the bench, while Mudryk has been left out of the squad.

Reports in Ukraine claim that Mudryk suffered an injury while exercising in the gym.

The 23-year-old did not take part in full training with his Ukraine teammates on Tuesday ahead of the game against Belgium.

Arsenal defender Zinchenko, who captains the national side, and Chelsea winger Mudryk, had started in both of Ukraine’s group games so far.
