Former Manchester United star Paul Parker has launched another astonishing attack on Alejandro Garnacho, insisting he has ‘a better end product’ than the Argentina international.

Garnacho is expected to leave Old Trafford after falling out with Ruben Amorim at the end of last season.

The winger was left out of the starting XI for the Europa League final against Tottenham in May, publicly criticising his manager’s decision in front of the media after the game.

Amorim was reported to have told Garnacho to ‘pray he finds another club’ days later.

He is one of five players eager to leave this month, with United hoping to get as much as £70million for the 21-year-old.

Former England international Parker, who spent five years at United from 1991 to 1995, took aim at Garnacho last season, insisting his form and perceived attitude problems were ‘letting his family down’.

Parker has now blasted him for ‘living off shinning an overhead kick into the top corner’ – referencing Garnacho’s goal of the season winner against Everton from the 2023-24 season.

The former Atletico Madrid youngster scored 11 and provided 10 assists last season but was also guilty of passing up some glaring opportunities – as Amorim noted in his response to the player’s criticism of his selection decisions.

And even after hanging up his boots 28 years ago, Parker suggested he could still give the winger a run for his money when it comes to delivering a final ball.

‘Sell the boy,’ Parker said when asked Garnacho’s future, speaking via BritishGambler.co.uk.

‘He needs to move on, needs to understand what football is about. Not a game of golf, and you need players around you.

‘He needs to look at his game and what he is rather than what he wants to be – he should want to be Garnacho, not the former United winger that plays for Portugal… and have a bit of humanity.

I’d say I have better end product than him. He’s more concerned about trying to score and what he’s going to do after to celebrate than actually scoring a goal.

‘His end product is terrible, absolutely terrible. Living off shinning an overhead kick into the top corner against Everton.

‘I  wonder what kind of player he is. Not full of tricks, not that quick. I’m trying to figure out what his game is, I really don’t know what his strengths are.’

Despite interest from Napoli, Garnacho favours a move keeping him in the Premier League, with Chelsea and Tottenham monitoring his situation.
