Quinnen Williams Gets Brutally Honest After Cowboys’ Blowout Win vs. Raiders

It was quite a Dallas Cowboys debut for Quinnen Williams as owner Jerry Jones watched his major NFL trade deadline gamble play out from a Las Vegas luxury suite. Following the team’s blowout win over the Las Vegas Raiders, Williams offered a warning to fans expecting a magical makeover now that the star defensive tackle is in Big D.

Williams may be attempting to temper expectations, but it was quite a debut for the star defender. The newest Cowboys defensive tackle posted 1.5 sacks and five quarterback pressures in his first game wearing a star on his helmet.

“In his Cowboys debut, Quinnen Williams forced 5 pressures in the first half, tied for the most in any half by a Cowboys defensive tackle since at least 2018,” Next Gen Stats detailed in a November 17, 2025, message on X. “Williams and Osa Odighizuwa combined for 11 pressures on the night.”

Williams still offered some wise words on the team’s expectations moving forward.

Quinnen Williams on Cowboys Defense: ‘I Don’t Think One Guy Could Change Anything’

The Cowboys defender is not so convinced that he can automatically transform Dallas’ struggling defense. Still, the early results were quite positive in Williams’ debut, even if it was against a struggling Raiders offense.

“I don’t think one guy could change anything,” Williams noted on November 17, per DallasCowboys.com’s Patrik Walker. “I think the team itself, the guys around you, all eleven on the field, the coaching staff, in general, makes the difference. One man don’t [change] nothing.
This is not golf. It’s not tennis.

“Everybody on his team has to do the job. Everybody in this organization has to do a job to the best of their ability to win games.”

Quinnen Williams After Cowboys’ Win vs. Raiders: ‘I Want to Keep Stacking These Performances’

This does not mean that Williams is not optimistic about his new team moving forward. The Dallas defense is also getting a boost with linebacker Demarvion Overshown returning to the field.

“I want to keep stacking these, man,” Williams noted. “I want to keep stacking these performances, and I want to keep getting better week in and week out. And it’s just the main goal, man, to keep getting better, keep stacking up the good things, fix the bad things, and win football games.”

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott on Quinnen Williams: ‘That’s Somebody That Challenges Me’

Williams’ teammates are already taking notice of the star’s impact. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott noted that he now has a “match in putting the time in” when it comes to Williams’ preparation.

“I don’t know if there are words for it,” Prescott said of Williams, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “Special individual. From the moment he has walked into the building, I’ve got a match in putting the time in, taking care of the body.

“That’s somebody that challenges me. And just being a professional, and inspires me in everything that he’s doing. The conversations that we’ve had, discussing what he expects out of an offense and the way that he plays, and vice versa, super impressed with him.”

Things get more challenging in Week 12 as the Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas is a 3.5-point underdog versus Philly, per FanDuel.
