Raging Jude Bellingham loses it with Vinicius Jr in huge rant but Ancelotti hails Real Madrid star for showing ‘balls’

JUDE BELLINGHAM fumed at Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Jr for not passing him the ball during their 2-1 victory over Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Bellingham, 21, was left seething after Vinicius opted to go for goal rather than pick out a pass to him in the box.

Vinicius has done superbly to wriggle his way into the area and beat three men in the process, but the Brazilian decided to shoot from a tight angle at the end of the move – ultimately firing wide.

Despite leading 1-0 at the time, Bellingham didn’t take kindly to the decision and flipped out on the pitch.

The England superstar could be seen shouting in frustration, gesturing where he wanted the ball and kicking the air in anger.

It seemed as though Vinicius’ decision could come back to haunt Los Blancos too when Celta Vigo levelled the scores in the second half through Williot Swedberg.

But Vinicius made amends for his error in judgement by bagging the winner for Madrid in the 66th minute.

The incident was swiftly put behind the pair with Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti explaining that it was all smiles in the changing rooms at full-time.

While the Italian gaffer commended Bellingham for his actions, claiming that it shows that the former Birmingham City midfielder “has balls”.

The 65-year-old said: “I haven’t seen that play you’re talking about, but if it has happened, it means that he has balls, character, and it seems good to me.

“Honestly, I didn’t realize the play [had happened]. I’ll watch it. But if he has reacted… let’s be calm, after the game they were talking, laughing. They have no problems.

“The merit we have is that we always compete well, until the end.

“We could have played better, yes, but the group was committed and knew how to suffer, because Celta also competed well, with intensity.”

Bellingham has struggled to live up to the sky-high standards he set for himself last term in the opening stages of this season.

The 38-time England international is yet to find the back of the net in all competitions for Madrid, having made nine appearances so far.

By comparison, Bellingham had already bagged seven times by this point last season.
