The Los Angeles Rams have not had Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams at practice for back-to-back sessions. However, as concern mounts about that, Adams is not the only significant potential absence in Week 4 against the 3-0 Indianapolis Colts.
The Ramsâ second injury report of the week revealed that right tackle Rob Haventstein also missed his second straight session.
Unfortunately, there was more reason for concern for the Rams with a Super Bowl champion.
Tyler Higbee Joins Davante Adams, Rob Havenstein on Injury Report

The Rams added tight end Tyler Higbee, a member of the 2021 Super Bowl team like Havenstein, to the injury report on Thursday, putting him in at least some jeopardy of missing Sundayâs tilt. However, unlike Adams and Havenstein, Higbee was at least able to log a limited session.
Still, Higbeeâs potential absence could open up opportunities for rookie second-round pick Terrance Ferguson, the No. 46 overall pick of the 2025 draft.
He has played in two games this season, but has yet to catch a pass.
Ferguson has logged 20 snaps as a pro, with four of those coming on special teams, per Pro Football Reference. The lack of involvement for Ferguson has already drawn attention, and he was a healthy scratch in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3.
Backup tight end Colby Parkinson logged his second limited session of the week, with offensive linemen Steve Avila and Justin Dedich doing the same.
Braden Fiske and Kamren Kinchens were both full participants, upgrading from limited sessions.
The Rams have one more session this week before they take on the Colts, giving Adams and Havenstein one more chance to get work in. Avila and Higbee are more certain, but they are questionable at best until the Rams declare otherwise.
Davante Adamsâ Absence Could Open Up More Opportunities for Puka Nacua

With Adams and fellow wideout Puka Nacua active, the Rams boast one of the better duos in the league. If Adams is forced to miss time, it could be good news for Nacua. Already Matthew Staffordâs most trusted target, Nacua could assume a sizeable portion of Adamsâ targets.
The Rams would still need others to step up. That could be daunting, with a significant drop-off in targets from Adams (29) and Nacua (35) to third place among the receivers.
That is Jordan Whittington, who has five targets in three games.
Running back Kyren Williams is the Ramsâ third-leading receiver. He could also take on a larger role in the passing game if Adams sits. Even if Higbee plays, the Rams would have a difficult time replacing Adams.
Rams Get Mixed News From Colts

The Coltsâ injury report was a mixed bag as far as the Rams are concerned, especially with the uncertainty around Adams and Havenstein.
Three Colts starters â wide receiver Alec Pierce, guard Matt Goncalves, and cornerback Kenny Moore II â all missed their second straight practice. Moore will miss multiple weeks with his injury, and the Colts signed Mike Hilton to replace him for the time being.
Goncalves and Pierce would be significant losses for the Colts.
Like the Rams with Adams and others, the Colts still have one more session to get their absentees back before releasing their final injury report of the week.
