The Los Angeles Rams have expressed tremendous appreciation for what Davante Adams has brought to their team. He has already added to his historic career over the first nine games of the 2025 season.
However, there is another major milestone on the line in Week 11.
Adams has an opportunity to accomplish something only three other players have ever done in NFL history.
Davante Adams Can Join Historic Club With Rams in Week 11

Adams enters Week 11 with 42 receptions for 568 yards and 9 touchdowns for the Rams, and with one more score, he will join an elite group.
“Davante Adams has 42 catches this year. More than 20 percent of them have resulted in touchdowns,” Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio wrote on November 15. “Via NBC Sports research, a tenth touchdown catch with the Rams will make Adams only the third player in NFL history to have a 10-or-more receiving touchdowns in a given season with three different teams.”
The other two players are Brandon Marshall and Terrell Owens, a Hall of Famer.
Adams signed a two-year, $44 million contract with the Rams in free agency this offseason, and the decision has paid off for both sides. Adams is 23rd in receiving yards and 30th in receptions this season, as he plays alongside Rams WR1 Puka Nacua.
Still, Adams’ TDs lead the league, and he ranks 11th in receptions for first downs entering the Sunday slate of games in Week 11.
Davante Adams Delivers Encouraging Message Amid Oblique Injury

Adams’ importance to the Rams’ offense cannot be overstated, making his status for Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks significant. Adams injured his oblique in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers, but said he is fine.
“I’ll be [the] same Old G out there,” Adams told reporters on November 14. “It shouldn’t really change anything. It’s just more of like a ‘what I can deal with,’ the comfort. And before, it was kind of more debilitating. But more, I think it’s just how much I can put up with, but it’s come a long way. Feeling good.”
Adams has been durable in his career, missing no more than two games in a season since 2020 and missing more than that three times.
One of those instances was in 2024, though it came amid an eventually-granted trade request.
Adams originally entered the league as a second-round pick, selected 53rd overall by the Green Bay Packers. He spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets before joining the Rams this past offseason.

Adams spoke candidly about being in a different spot this season than he had been in the past couple, spent with the Jets and Raiders.
For Adams, the reality adds to the gravity of the Rams’ tilt against the Seahawks.
“I haven’t played a game where, later in the season or halfway through, both teams are in a good spot. So, that’s what you play for, for the meaningful games that happen after Halloween or around Thanksgiving time. These are the ones that add up and mean the most for playoff implications,” Adams said.
“All we can do is focus on where we at right now, but it’s obviously a big game. We got to make sure we’re locked in on and we’re excited about it.”
A win on Sunday would give Adams and the Rams first place in the NFC West.
