Rams Send Message After Davante Adams Makes Strong Statement

Davante Adams continues to make his mark in his first season with the Los Angeles Rams, recently celebrating yet another career milestone passed while wearing the blue (and sometimes bone) and gold.

Adams celebrated the milestone, which has become commonplace for him this season.

The Rams also weighed in on the six-time Pro Bowler’s performance against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12.

Adams tallied one reception for 1 yard and 1 touchdown in the Rams’ win over the Seahawks in Week 12, but it was a monumental reception nonetheless. Adams entered the week with 42 grabs for 568 yards and a league-leading 9 TDs catches.

This one made Adams one of 17 players in NFL history with at least 1,000 career receptions.

“They aint always pretty!!” Adams said in an Instagram post on November 17. “Great TEAM win and a cool lil way to get to1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ 🤲🏾 [1000 and open hands emojis].”

Adams has touted his experience with the Rams since he signed his two-year, $44 million contract during free agency. From head coach Sean McVay, to quarterback Matthew Stafford, and wide receiver Puka Nacua, all have raved about what Adams has brought to the team.

Adams is 25 receptions from passing Isaac Bruce for 15th place and 31 catches from overtaking Keenan Allen of the Los Angeles Chargers, and 32 from taking 13th place from Steve Smith Sr.

Fittingly, the Rams had plenty to say about Adams’ day despite the unassuming final line.

Adams is the “third-fastest” player to reach the mark, per Los Angeles Rams PR, which also noted several other remarkable facts about the feat.

Adams’ touchdown was also significant.

“He became the fifth WR ever with at least 1,000 receptions in his first 12 career seasons, joining HOFers Jerry Rice, Marvin Harrison, Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. Only Keenan Allen and Andre Johnson reached the mark in fewer games,” Los Angeles Rams PR posted on X on November 16.

“It’s also Davante Adams’ fourth straight game with a receiving TD, the second-longest streak of games with a TD catch for any player during the 2025 season (DAL George Pickens, 5 games). He became the fifth player in NFL history with at least 10 touchdown receptions in seven career seasons, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers Randy Moss (nine seasons), Jerry Rice (nine), Marvin Harrison (eight) and Terrell Owens (eight).”

The Rams’ PR team also noted that Adams’ “10 touchdown receptions in 2025 are the most in the NFL and two more than the next closest player.”

Adams received plenty of plaudits from other current and some former players on his Instagram post celebrating his latest milestone. Rams teammate and running back Kyren Williams was among them.

“It’d take some 60 years to do what you did in 12 [goat emoji],” Williams posted in the comments.

Former NFL wideout Dez Bryant called Adams a “dawg.”

The Jordan Brand and Taco Bell, both of which have brought Adams on as a spokesperson, also shared messages of support for Adams on the post, as did San Francisco 49ers running back Patrick Taylor and Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith.
