Ravens Fans Would Love if this ‘Insanely Bold’ Prediction Comes True

The Baltimore Ravens got another monster year from QB Lamar Jackson and, once again, came up short of their ultimate goal of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season.

Yet, Ravens fans would love if one bold prediction from an NFL writer came true in 2025.

Baltimore Ravens Predicted to Win Super Bowl LX

NFL Spin Zone’s Lou Scataglia saved his spiciest bold prediction for last when he predicted the Baltimore Ravens will win Super Bowl LX to close out the 2025 NFL Season.

Scataglia wrote, “Our biggest bold prediction is that the Baltimore Ravens will slay the dragon, get over their previous playoff woes, and win Super Bowl LX. The Ravens have not won multiple games in the postseason since their last Super Bowl trip back in 2012. It’s been that long, and it’s getting kind of insane.”

The dragon Scataglia is referring to is the lack of noteworthy postseason success the team has produced during Lamar Jackson’s exceptional NFL career.

Scataglia added, “Lamar Jackson is the best QB in the NFL, and the front office is continually trotting out top-tier rosters. Their recent Jaire Alexander signing only proves further that this team is in yet again for 2025. Can the Ravens win the Super Bowl this year?”

The additions of Jaire Alexander, DeAndre Hopkins, Malaki Starks, and Mike Green all feel like moves to help the roster, which likely adds to the already high expectations for this team entering the 2025 NFL season.

How Much Longer is the Ravens Super Bowl Window Open?

Many NFL fans believe as long as Lamar Jackson is under center for the Baltimore Ravens, they should be considered Super Bowl contenders. Yet, Jordan Dajani of CBS Sports did raise the question earlier this offseason if their Super Bowl window has closed.

Dajani wrote, “The Ravens’ turnover margin in Jackson’s five career playoff losses is -12. For as good as Jackson is, he’s committed multiple turnovers in 50% of his postseason starts, compared to 15% of his regular-season starts. If you turn the ball over, it’s tough to win games. You can outgain your opponent 416 yards to 273 yards, you can record more first downs than your opponent and convert on 70% of third downs. If you lose the turnover battle, 3-0, like Baltimore did on Sunday night, you will likely lose. If you fumble away possession in the fourth quarter of a playoff game while trailing, you will likely lose. If you don’t catch an open pass in the end zone with the game on the line, you will probably lose. ”

The data certainly seems to suggest that Jackson’s elite play during the regular season hasn’t exactly resulted in elevated postseason execution. The two-time league MVP has a 3-5 record in the playoffs to go with just 10 touchdown passes to seven interceptions over his postseason appearances.

Dajani added, “The Ravens haven’t come up clutch in big postseason moments, and that’s absolutely something that needs to change.”

Nobody wants to bring a Super Bowl championship to the city of Baltimore more than Jackson. His excellence and continued growth as a quarterback have already turned him into a future Hall of Famer.

After the Kansas City Chiefs failed to complete the three-peat quest with a blowout loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, now feels like the best time to potentially slay the Patrick Mahomes-sized dragon in the AFC this season.

The Ravens have the talent to do it and have an all-time talent under center who should keep their Super Bowl window open in 2025 and beyond.
