Real Madrid have reportedly sent scouts to watch one Arsenal star when he plays for England during the international beak.

The Gunners are flying high at the top of the Premier League, with some rating Mikel Arteta’s squad as the best in the country.

It is no surprise then that the current England team features four Arsenal players – Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze and Myles Lewis-Skelly – more than any other club.

But they also have a number of stars playing for the Three Lions at youth level, including wonderkid Max Dowman who is currently training with the Under-19s despite only being 15-years-old.

Already deemed good enough to be playing for Arteta’s first-team, the teenager made his Premier League debut in August, becoming the competition’s second-youngest player behind teammate Ethan Nwaneri.

Many believe Dowman has a very bright career ahead of him for both club and country but could he moving on from the Emirates in the near-future?

According to the Daily Mail, the attacking midfielder had Real Madrid scouts ‘purring’ when they saw him play for the Young Lions in September.

And it is said they have been sent to watch him again during the October break, with the U19s currently training in Marbella.

England beat Belgium 4-1 in Spain on Saturday, with Dowman coming off the bench in the second-half, and are due to play Wales on Tuesday.

The U19 squad also includes Liverpool’s 17-year-old wonderkid Rio Ngumoha and Manchester United youngster Harry Amass.

It is not clear whether Real are serious about signing the teenager who is currently on a scholarship contract and cannot sign a professional deal until his 17th birthday on December 31, 2026.

Arsenal will no doubt be determined to hold onto their star youngster, having already successfully staved off Real’s interest in William Saliba.

For now, Dowman could be involved when the Premier League returns this Saturday, with Arsenal travelling across London to take on Fulham.
