Ruben Amorim singled out Manchester United trio Rasmus Hojlund, Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro for praise after the draw against Lyon.
Zirkzee and Yoro both registered goals in the 2-2 Europa League quarter-final first leg clash with the French side on Thursday night.
Hojlund started the match but failed to get on the scoresheet yet again for the Red Devils as he was replaced by Zirkzee in the 63rd minute.
But United head coach Amorim insists he was satisfied with what he saw from the Dane as he also lauded both Zirkzee and Yoro after the game.
Following the 2-2 draw at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Amorim told reporters in his post-match press conference: ‘[Yoro] was really good.

‘He was really confident. I think he is improving his physicality which was something he was struggling [with]. He didn’t have a pre-season.
‘So we are seeing all the work the staff are doing with Leny. He feels more at home at Carrington and at our club. You can see he’s a top, top player.’

Quizzed why he named Hojlund instead of Zirkzee in his staring XI, Amorim added: ‘Sometimes the most important players are the ones who come on.
‘Hojlund did a lot of [good] runs in the first half. He pushed the team forward when we were struggling to find the right moment to press the opponent. He did his job.
‘And then Josh produced a great goal. He also did a great job when he came onto the pitch.’

Amorim faced several questions about the performance of goalkeeper Andre Onana after his two dramatic blunders against Lyon.
But the United boss refused to criticise the Cameroon international and played down talk of his spat with Nemanja Matic being a possible factor.
‘It can happen,’ Amorim said about Onana’s two mistakes. ‘If you play a lot of games you can make mistakes.
‘If you look at the season, I’ve made more mistakes than [the players] during these last months.
‘The good thing is that we have one game to change everything. That should be our focus.’
Asked if Onana was distracted by his war of words with Matic, Amorim added: ‘I don’t know. The best thing is to look at the goals and all the actions Onana had in the game.
‘This is the best way to help any player. We’ll focus on the game – what happened and what we need to improve.
‘I didn’t see [Onana] after the game.’
