Sean McDermott Provides Josh Allen Injury Update Before Playoffs

The Buffalo Bills lost out on a chance to play for the AFC East division title next Sunday after a narrow one-point loss to the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

The good news for Bills fans, they have already locked up a playoff appearance.

The bad news for Bills fans, quarterback Josh Allen has been dealing with a foot injury since Week 16.

This foot injury has not sidelined Allen for any time, but it was a story heading into last Sunday’s game against the Eagles and will remain a story for this week as well.

Head coach Sean McDermott provided an injury update during his Monday afternoon press conference.

“He’s dealing with some soreness,” McDermott said. “He looks kind of like last week a little bit, but maybe in a slightly better spot than the early part of last week, like he was.”

With nothing on the line ahead of this Sunday’s final regular-season game against the New York Jets, the head coach has not revealed whether or not he will be resting starters like Allen.
