The Kansas City Chiefs enter the bye week after suffering a 28-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills. While the Chiefs were 12-0 in one-score games last season, they’re 0-4 this year.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce caught four passes for 66 yards against Buffalo. While fans hoped to see his fiancée, Taylor Swift, at Highmark Stadium for the AFC showdown, she did not attend.
Swift dined at Chez Margaux in New York City three days before the Chiefs-Bills game, leading some fans to believe she’d make it to Buffalo for the matchup. However, Swift hasn’t attended a game in Buffalo since the AFC divisional round in January 2024, and it was not a good experience.
The pop star hasn’t attended a road game since the 2023 season, but made an exception for the Super Bowl in New Orleans. President Donald Trump also attended Super Bowl LIX. While Trump referred to Kelce as the “absolute best tight end in football (Ever!)” on Truth Social before the game, he later celebrated Swift getting met with some boos on the Jumbotron.

The 79-year-old posted, “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”
Swift, however, did not get booed out of the stadium. She laughed off the fan response at Caesars Superdome. While Trump made his feelings about the 14-time Grammy winner extremely clear after she endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ he posted, the White House used Swift’s new music in a new TikTok video.
The White House’s Official TikTok Account Used ‘The Life of Ophelia’ in a New Video

GettyPresident Donald Trump speaks to reporters aboard Air Force One en route to the White House on November 2, 2025 after spending the weekend at Mar-A-Lago.
The White House posted a video using the latest single off Swift’s hit new record, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which immediately turned heads on TikTok.
The video twists Swift’s lyrics, a love song to Kelce inspired by Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” to illustrate Trump’s return to the White House.
When she sings, “Don’t care where the hell you been,” the video shows Trump’s 2023 mug shot after he was indicted on charges related to attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. When she sings, “Cause now you’re mine,” the video shows Trump hugging the American flag.
Considering Trump used AI images of Swift falsely endorsing him ahead of the 2024 election and stated on Truth Social in August that she was “NOT LONGER HOT,” Swifties weren’t pleased. One fan commented, “His obsession with her needs to be studied it’s wild really.” Another person begged, “TAYLOR SWIFT SUE THEM FOR USING YOUR SONG.”
Trump, however, is a big fan of Brittany Mahomes, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes‘ wife.

When asked about Trump attending the Super Bowl, Kelce gave a measured response to reporters on February 5. “That’s awesome. It’s a great honor,” the 10-time Pro Bowler said.
“I think you know, no matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there — it’s the best country in the world — and that’s pretty cool.”
