Travis Kelce Makes $200 Million Announcement After Chiefs Win

Few people are having a more exciting year than Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

After returning to play for a 13th season in the NFL, the future Hall of Famer proposed to Taylor Swift. Before the superstar couple starts planning their upcoming wedding, Kelce continues to play a crucial role on the Chiefs’ offense.

The 36-year-old All-Pro has registered 31 receptions for 375 yards and two touchdowns in seven games. With the team’s “Big 3” wide receivers all healthy and active — Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Hollywood Brown— the Chiefs’ offense is humming.

“I think it’s just a glimpse of what you’re going to see from here on out,” Kelce told Sports Radio 810 after defeating the Raiders on October 19. “We’re going to get more and more in sync having the fun gambit, full arsenal. As long as we all keep playing unselfish and getting excited for each other — sky’s the limit.”

Kelce is also doing big things off the field. In addition to hosting his weekly podcast, “New Heights,” he appeared in Netflix’s hit movie, “Happy Gilmore 2,” and launched Tru Kolors, an exclusive clothing collaboration with American Eagle.

The veteran tight end also gives back to the community and does a lot of charity work through his 87 & Running Foundation. While Kelce has a lot on his plate, he shared even more “exciting news” on Tuesday, October 21.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Invested in Six Flags Alongside Jana Partners

Two days after the Raiders-Chiefs showdown, Kelce announced that he’s a new investor in Six Flags. The Wall Street Journal reported, “New York-based hedge fund Jana Partners, the National Football League star and other investors have a combined stake of about 9% of the theme-park operator’s shares, or $200 million, Jana executives revealed Tuesday.”

The 10-time Pro Bowler, who’s in the final season of his two-year, $34.25 million contract with the Chiefs, shared the news with his 7.9 million followers on Instagram.

He wrote, “To all my fellow theme park and amusement park lovers. I have some exciting news!!! Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to continue the tradition and make Cedar Point and Six Flags even more special for the next generation of families! Excited to partner with JANA Partners as an investor in Six Flags. So crazy to even imagine this is real, but you gotta love it when life comes full circle.”

Fans were thrilled for Kelce. One person commented, “You are doing EXACTLY what I would do if I were rich and famous! Ohio thanks you!!!!” Another fan added, “Cedar Point was such a huge part of my childhood!! Gonna have to get my kids back up north to Sandusky and see what you do with the place!”

Travis Kelce Opened a New Restaurant With Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City

Adding to Kelce’s decorated career resume, he and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes opened up their restaurant, 1587 Prime, at the Loews Hotel. The steakhouse is already the biggest hotspot in Kansas City, as reservations are completely booked up for the foreseeable future.

1587 Prime has also become the perfect hangout spot for Kelce and Swift after Chiefs’ games, as there’s a private dining room. “The Life of a Showgirl” singer and Kelce dined at 1587 Prime after Kansas City defeated the Raiders on Sunday and celebrated Mahomes’ 30th birthday at the restaurant last month.
