With training camp just around the corner, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, are hitting the pause button on their “New Heights” podcast.
“We have come to the end of the road,” Jason announced during last week’s episode. “Whenever training camp starts, we take a hiatus from the pod because it’s nearly impossible to do a podcast while somebody’s in training camp.”
While Travis traveled the world last summer to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during her “Eras Tour,” and filmed multiple projects amid his acting career pursuit, the 35-year-old is keeping his focus on football this offseason.
During the episode, the Kelce brothers answered a listener’s question from the hotline about getting their significant other to do chores around the house. Jason didn’t hesitate to admit he needs a push by his wife, Kylie Kelce, because he’s forgetful.

“I am pro-nagging. I think nagging is a great thing to do,” the ESPN analyst said. “She’s like, ‘Jason, I don’t want to tell you to do these things.’ And I’m like, ‘I get that. I’m just like, you know, it’s not going to get done unless you tell me to do it.”
“I have never ever, and I will never ever, tell Kylie to do something around the house, because, I don’t know, she does enough… Tell me to get my lazy ass up, and take the damn trash out. If you tell me to take the trash out, I’m not going to be like, ‘Oh, I can’t believe she’s telling me to take the trash out.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, you’re right. I should be doing that. OK, I’m sorry.’”
Former Chiefs First-Rounder Eric Fisher Asked Travis Kelce If Taylor Swift Asks Him to Do Chores
During this segment, Eric Fisher, the Chiefs’ first-round pick from the 2013 NFL draft, asked what every listener was thinking. He commented on the video, “Trav, is Tay asking you to do chores?? 🤔,” to which the 10-time Pro Bowler simply replied, “😂😂😂.”
Fisher, who won the 2020 Super Bowl alongside Kelce, racked up nearly 2,800 likes for his comment. While Travis didn’t delve into the household dynamics in the couple’s home, he offered a hilarious solution for his brother. The veteran tight end suggested Kylie get a whistle to get the retired Philadelphia Eagles center moving. Jason was on board.
“I like coaching. I’ve been coached my whole life. I want people to tell me. I need that,” he replied.

While Swift and Travis appeared to have an idyllic offseason together traveling to Big Sky, Montana, Nashville, Miami, New York City, and more, they also dealt with a serious health scare.
A rep for Swift told TMZ last week that the singer’s father, Scott Swift, 73, underwent quintuple bypass surgery “over a month ago.” Swift, along with her mom, Andrea Swift, 67, and brother, Austin Swift, 33, remained by his side throughout the procedure. Scott is now “feeling great,” the rep noted.
During this stressful time, Travis “went into total caregiver mode,” a source told the Daily Mail, “making sure” Swift ate by ordering her meals. “This was their first crisis together, and Travis was doing everything right,” the source added. “If Taylor wasn’t ready to marry him before, she sure is now. They were in love before, but now it seems unbreakable.”
