Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Wedding Site: 5 Most Likely Destinations

By now, even people who don’t follow NFL football, and people who have never listened to a single Taylor Swift song, are very likely aware — whether they want to be or not — that Kansas City Chiefs future Hall of Fame tight end Travis Kelce and global pop music megastar Taylor Swift are getting married.

The high-profile power couple have been dating since 2023 and on Tuesday, they finally took to social media to announce that they are are officially, for real, engaged.

With that out of the way, there is one important question to answered. Well, two really — when will the wedding take place? But even more importantly — where?

While the couple and their representatives have not yet offered any insight as to the wedding destination, there are five possible sites that, according to media reports since Tuesday, rise to the top of the list.

Holiday House, Rhode Island

The smallest state in the United States is home to the largest of the eight homes owned by Swift. At 11,000 square feet, the eight-bedroom, 10 bath mansion sits at the highest elevation in the affluent neighborhood of Watch Hill, in the coastal community of Westerly, Rhode Island.

Swift purchased the property for $17.75 million 12 years ago, and is reported to use the residence as a “vacation home.” But with a five-acre lot and 700 feet — the length of 2 1/2 football fields — of private beach on the Rhode Island coastline, the estate could serve as a scenic and romantic site for a wedding of the scale that the Kelce-Swift nuptials promise to be.

Like many great, old mansions, the house has a name — in fact, it has two names: Holiday House, and High Watch. The home also reportedly inspired Swift’s 2020 song “The Last Great American Dynasty” off her album Folklore.

Lake Como, Italy

A scenic resort locale in the northern Italy, Lake Como is known as a getaway for the rich and famous, and some even put down roots there. George and Amal Clooney own a $10 million estate in Lake Como.

During a break from her Eras Tour, in May of 2024, Swift and Kelce vacationed there, staying in a luxury villa that reportedly charged about $23,000 per night. They are said to have fallen in love with the region and have been eyeing a vacation home of their own there.

But would they get married there? The online betting site Vegas Insider gives Lake Como, along with Rhode Island, the most favorable odds for a Swift-Kelce wedding.

A Pennsylvania Christmas Tree Farm

Swift spent her early childhood years with her family on Pine Ridge Farm, a Christmas tree farm in West Reading, Pennsylvania, about 60 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

“Swift has spoken about how influential her childhood was growing up, and the nostalgia she has for the fall and winter seasons in Pennsylvania,” reported the USA Today Network on Tuesday.

Playhouse Square, Cleveland, Ohio

Kelce grew up in Cleveland Heights, a suburb of Cleveland. While his native city may seem like a long shot for the Wedding of the Decade — Kelce’s family no longer lives there — the couple in June were spotted hunting for homes in the city’s most upscale neighborhoods.

Cleveland is home to Playhouse Square, billed as the largest performing arts center in the United States outside of New York City. The nonprofit center has already dropped a not-too-subtle hint on its Facebook page that it would be keen to host a hometown wedding for Kelce and his famous bride.

The Winner of a TV game Show

Obviously, a couple as famous and wealthy as Swift and Kelce have their pick of wedding destinations worldwide. But Nicholas Quah, a culture critic for New York Magazine on its website Vulture, came up with an idea that would certainly help the power couple make up their minds.

Hold a televised competition, with officials from cities across the country and the world making their pitches to the couple and a panel of their friends and associates, live, similar to the TV reality business show Star Tank.

“Reality-show judges could include Taylor and Travis confederates: Tree Paine, Sabrina Carpenter, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, and Patrick Mahomes,” Quah wrote. “The show would obviously get cross-promoted on Travis’s popular podcast, New Heights, which he hosts with his brother, Jason.”
