Heading into Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings are one of three teams in the NFC North division with two wins, with only Caleb Williams‘ Chicago Bears sitting at the bottom of the standings at 1-2.
Obviously, it’s an early sample size, which can and will likely change from week to week. However, the NFC North may become one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL, which means every win is paramount.
In Week 4, the Vikings, who will be without Carson Wentz under center, will have their hands full against Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers overseas in Dublin, Ireland.
Jordan Addison is Ready to Make a Statement in Return

After serving a three-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, Addison will get back on the field for Week 4 against the Steelers overseas, and he’s pumped up to make his return to the gridiron, as he made abundantly clear on Wednesday during media availability for the Vikings.
“It feels amazing, ” Addison said. “First game back going overseas, it don’t get no better than that. Most importantly, it just feels good being around the guys.”
Addison reflected on being away from the team and how difficult it was to be stuck watching rather than playing over the course of the first three games of the 2025 campaign.
“It’s always tough not being out there with the teammates and having to watch it on TV, but like I said, it just feels good to be back and being around the guys and just getting back in the mix.”
Jordan Addison Already Has Chemistry With Carson Wentz

Addison is more than ready to get back on the gridiron to catch passes from veteran quarterback Carson Wentz.
“That’s all I’m thinking,” Addison said. “I’m ready.”
The up-and-coming wide receiver has started building chemistry with Wentz ahead of Week 4 against the Steelers. He said Wednesday was the first time he caught passes from the former No. 2 overall pick, but they are already on the same page.
“It was today,” Addison said. “We just worked a little bit after practice to get the timing down, but we were clicking, though. It was like we were playing for a minute.”
The 23-year-old wideout opened up about catching passes from Wentz and how that’s different from playing with Michigan product J.J. McCarthy.
“That’s the way things go,” Addison said. “Sometimes things just happen that way, but I’m excited to go out there and play with him. Just got out there and get a dub.”
“I just feel like, as a receiver, the way I look at it is my job to make the quarterback look good, and I’ve always got the mindset that no matter who’s back there, just throw it up. That’s how I go about it.”
Addison also discussed what he has seen from Wentz, following the Vikings’ 48-point performance against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3, which resulted in Minnesota’s second win of the season.
“He looked good,” Addison said on Wentz’s first game. “I watched the whole week of practice leading up to that, and he looked sharp as well. I kind of knew he was going to go out there and do his thing like he usually do.”
With Addison anxious to make a statement in his first game back from suspension, it’ll be interesting to see how he impacts the Vikings’ offense, especially with the team coming off a performance in which they came two points shy of dropping 50 against the Bengals.
