Viktor Gyokeres has rejected two more offers with the Sporting CP striker still determined to join Arsenal this summer.

The Sweden international remains in a heated stand-off with his club and is desperate to secure a summer transfer away with north London his preferred destination.

Gyokeres has also been targeted by Manchester United with Ruben Amorim eager for a reunion after their successful season together before the coach moved to Old Trafford.

But Gyokeres is thought to have informed United he is not interested in joining them this summer, preferring a side competing in the Champions League.

Juventus were ready to offer the 26-year-old that opportunity next season but he also turned down a move to Turin with the Bianconeri since signing Jonathan David.

While he has his heart set on Arsenal, the Premier League giants are also exploring a move for RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko – possibly leaving Gyokeres in limbo if Mikel Arteta’s side sign for the Slovenia international.

But the Swede remains determined to get his move with Record reporting he has now rejected to huge offers from Saudi Pro League sides while he waits for the Gunners to come through.

Al-Hilal and Al-Qadisiyah have made approaches which have been rejected by the Sporting star.

Gyokeres scored 54 goals in 52 appearances to lead Sporting to a domestic double last season but his relationship with the club has turned toxic in recent weeks.

Sporting president Frederico Varandas has denied the existence of a gentleman’s agreement to let him leave the club for €60m plus €10m (£50m plus £8m) in add-ons.

It has sparked a bitter feud between Sporting and Gyokeres’ agent Hasan Cetinkaya which has threatened to derail his dream summer move.

Sporting players are scheduled to return for pre-season training next week and all eyes will be in if Gyokeres is among them.

Recent reports in Portugal have claimed he has been in direct contact with Varandas to plead for a move.

Record claimed the player told Varandas he ‘does not want and will not’ return to the club with a source telling the newspaper ‘Gyokeres will never forgive those responsible’ if he fails to secure a move to north London.
