Some are framing this interaction as happening during the game, but the empty seats and player warmups indicate the video was taken prior to the TCU-North Carolina game. There is also a chance that the video was filmed during halftime, but there is little indication this moment occurred during the game.

There continues to be questions about Hudson’s specific role at North Carolina given her constant presence at Chapel Hill. Belichick has made it clear that Hudson is not involved in the football operations, and his girlfriend helps with some of his personal business responsibilities.
“She’s been through the whole process and she’s been very helpful to me,” Belichick told “Good Morning America,” during a May 16, 2025, interview.
“She does the business things that don’t relate to North Carolina that come up in my life so I can concentrate on football, and that’s really what I want to do.”
