Warriors’ Stephen Curry Parts Ways With Longtime Sponsor

As one of the greatest players of this generation, Stephen Curry has helped win five championships for the Golden State Warriors. He has established himself as not just one of the best players in the NBA, but one of the most marketable ones, as well.

Curry has several endorsement deals and sponsors. As one of the most popular players in the league, Curry has the opportunity to be the spokesperson for almost any product he wants. One of the longest partnerships he has had has been with Under Armour.

With Under Armour, Curry has created multiple versions of his signature shoe. They have helped him create shoes that helped fix his early-career ankle problems. Now, the two have officially parted ways.

Golden State Warriors Guard Stephen Curry Parts Ways With Under Armour

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Under Armour and Curry have decided to part ways. Curry will still have the standalone Curry Brand that will operate independently. Charania notes that Curry will continue to have a shoe partnership with Under Armour through 2026, but will cut ties after that.

Curry is still one of the best players in the NBA, as well as the most exciting. His 46-point outburst against the Spurs was as captivating of a performance as the league has seen this year. When he is launching 3’s from all areas of the court, it’s one of the more exciting sights to see.

Right now, the Warriors are ninth in the Western Conference standings. Curry is trying to pull the Warriors closer to a top-four seed, but the team has been dealing with some injuries to Jimmy Butler.

Warriors Guard Stephen Curry Will Find New Shoe Partner Soon

It won’t be long before Curry finds someone else to help create and release his shoes. Curry was one of the most popular players that Under Armour had under its clientele. It’s unclear what parting ways will do for their business.

Despite Curry’s advanced age, there should be a robust market for Curry to sift through once 2026 ends. He shouldn’t have an issue finding a new company to help launch new versions of his shoes. Curry still has a few good years of basketball left in him.
