Premier League summer spending has been substantial once again, with the big clubs splashing the cash on a string of shiny new players.
Liverpool have caught the eye in the transfer market with a couple of enormous purchases, and possibly more to come.
Manchester United have not been too far behind with their trio of new forwards costing over £190m in total.
Arsenal have also moved to try and improve their title chances with a new £64m striker, £60m midfielder and £48.5m winger.
Even though they have struggled to get the signings they have been chasing this summer, Newcastle have also completed one of the biggest deals in bringing in Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest for £55m.

The transfer window is still open for another two weeks, so there may well be some big deals still to be done.
But will we see the record for summer spending broken?
What is the Premier League record for summer spending?
The most ever spent by Premier League clubs came in the summer of 2023 when spending hit £2.36bn.
That was a significant step up from the previous highest in 2022 of £1.92bn.
Last year, 2024, saw £1.98bn spent by Premier League clubs.
What were the big transfers in the record-breaking summer?
You might think strikers would have been the reason behind the record summer spending, but that was not really the case.
Declan Rice went from West Ham to Arsenal for £105m, while Moises Caicedo left Brighton for Chelsea for £100m in the two biggest buys of the summer.
Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig to Manchester City was the next most expensive move, with the defender costing £77m.
In terms of forwards, Rasmus Hojlund was the priciest that summer as Manchester United spent £72m on the Dane.
How much has been spent so far this summer?
Spending this summer is getting close to the record and has already reached £2.23bn.
If Premier League clubs fork out another £130m before the close of the transfer window then the record will be broken.
While most clubs have got the majority of their business done already, that seems likely to happen.
If Liverpool can persuade Newcastle to sell Alexander Isak to them then that deal alone is likely to do the job.
Liverpool have been the biggest spenders so far this summer already, with the two biggest deals being Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for £100m and Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt for £69m.

The summer transfer window closes on Monday September 1 at 7pm.
