Who is Sammi Marsh?
Sammi Marsh is the wife of professional darts player James Wade.
She is a former glamour model and PDC walk-on girl.
Walk-on girls were models who would accompany darts players to the stage during tournaments.
The practice has since been discontinued in professional darts.
Sammi describes herself as a “proud wife and mummy” in her X/Twitter profile.
While she occasionally shares glimpses of her family life on social media, Sammi prefers to keep out of the public spotlight.
Marriage & kids
In October 2018, Sammi and James got married.
Later the same year, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Arthur James, who was born shortly after they tied the knot.
They welcomed a second son named Alfred George in August 2022.
The Wades keep their family life relatively private, but James has previously expressed how important his brood are to him amidst his busy career.
Supportive partners
Sammi has shown her support for her husband’s career by participating in interviews and discussions about darts.
In one video from 2019 hosted on Dailymotion, she quizzed James about the Darts Premier League, toughest opponents and his plans for upcoming tournaments.
When she asked him what his greatest moment in darts was, he replied “Meeting my wife Samantha”, to which she replied “You had to say that”, before The Machine added: “Well, it probably was.”

She participated in the 2015 London Marathon, with James helping her prepare for the athletic event.
Sammi said: “Ran it in five hours 15, got my personal best and ran the whole thing — very happy that.”
She added: “Actually I didn’t train as hard this time. I don’t know how I beat my personal best.”
Sammi raised £1,500 for the Rhys Daniels Trust along the way.
The Rhys Daniels Trust is a UK registered charity based in Essex that provides accommodation for families with kids receiving treatment at specialist children’s hospitals, particularly when they are located a long way from the family’s home.
