James Castle was a wrestler known for his work with WWE.
During his career he won the title of Wrestling League Heavyweight Championship
Sadly he had been battling leukaemia for four years, and he leaves behind his beloved wife Zoe Lucas.
At the time of his death, who was born Jamie Stacey, was just 35.

James passed away on June 15, 2024, after a brave fight against Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.
The tragic news was confirmed by his partner Zoe Lucas.
Taking to X she wrote: “On Saturday 15th June after 4 years of treatment, 12 rounds of chemotherapy, 2 bone marrow transplants, radio therapy and countless experimental trials we lost Jamie Stacey @JamesCastle49 to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.
“Thank you for giving me the best 9 years of my life.”

A spokesperson from RevPro Wrestling lead tributes and posted: “A former tag team Champion, Jamie was a super talent in the ring.
“The first wrestler trained from scratch at our Portsmouth School & without his help behind the scenes RevPro would not be here today.

LEUKAEMIA is a type of blood cancer which effects cells in bone marrow and attacks the immune system.
The disease is often classified as what type of cell is affected (myeloid or lymphatic) and how it progresses (acute or chronic).
Acute leukaemia is when it is progressing aggressively and requires immediate attention.
The risk of developing acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) increases with age, with the cancer being most common in adults over 65.
Typically the symptoms of AML can become increasingly more severe over time.
