World Cup 2026 qualifying draw LIVE: New England boss Thomas Tuchel to learn opponents for next campaign – updates

TODAY is the day that Thomas Tuchel will learn who England will be facing as they attempt to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

Tuchel will officially begin his role as the new head of the Three Lions on January 1, but will be locked in for the draw to find out England’s opponents and is expected to attend.

The draw takes place at Fifa HQ in Zurich, Switzerland, with nations placed into 12 groups of four and five teams.

Teams drawn in a group of five will start their campaign in March 2025, while those drawn in a group of four start in September 2025.
