A 19-year-old woman was found shot and unresponsive just before midnight Friday in West Garfield Park, Chicago police said.
The shooting happened in a home, according to police, and officers found the woman in the 4300 block of West Adams Street. She was shot in the face and neck and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
A person of interest was arrested at the scene and a weapon was recovered, police said.
