Beloved Beauty Queen Passes Away After Freak Accident – Tributes Pour In

A former beauty queen and model has sadly passed away following a freak accident in Tver Oblast, Russia.

Kseniya Alexandrova suffered from severe brain injuries from a fatal crash that occurred in July, per Russian outlet Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Alexandrova and her husband, Ilya, were driving home from Rzhev on July 5 when their vehicle struck an elk that suddenly leapt onto the road, the source reported. She was in the passenger seat while her husband was behind the wheel.

The elk crashed through the windshield, leaving Alexandrova unconscious and “covered in blood.”

“From the moment it jumped out to the impact, a split second passed,” her husband told the outlet in a statement translated from Russian. “I didn’t have time to do anything.”

Other drivers who witnessed the accident stopped to assist the couple. Alexandrova was then transported to a hospital in Moscow, where she fought for her life but sadly passed away on August 12 due to complications from her injuries. She was 30 years old.

Tributes Pour In for the Former Miss Universe Contestant

Following the news of Alexandrova’s tragic passing, her modeling agency, Modus Vivendis, shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

The statement, which was translated from Russian, read:

“It is with great sadness that we inform you that our colleague and friend, model Kseniya Alexandrova, passed away yesterday evening.

Kseniya was bright [and] talented. She knew how to inspire, support and give warmth to everyone who was around. For us, she will forever remain a symbol of beauty, kindness and inner strength.

We sincerely mourn and express our deepest condolences to her family, friends and everyone who had the good fortune to know Kseniya.”

Meanwhile, tributes poured in on social media as fans remembered the beloved beauty queen. One fan wrote in disbelief, “I can’t believe it. I will remember you like sunshine. One of the most beautiful and kind models that has ever been photographed.”

Another commented, “I am truly saddened and stunned by this news. I cannot imagine what happened. I followed her for years on social media, and she was such a bright light.”

A commenter also shared, “God, I can’t believe it! What a nightmare! I worked with Ksenia 9 years ago, and it’s still the most beautiful shoot in my heart.”

Who is Kseniya Alexandrova?

Alexandrova was crowned first runner-up at the Miss Russia pageant in 2017. Later that year, she represented her country at the Miss Universe competition, though she did not advance to the top 16.

Aside from being a beauty queen, she was a student at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, where she studied finance. She also pursued a degree in psychology at Moscow State Pedagogical University.

Alexandrova married her husband, Ilya, in April 2025, just four months before the tragic accident claimed her life.
