A homicide investigation is underway after the body of a man who’d apparently been beaten to death was found early Tuesday near railroad tracks in Avondale.
The victim, 39, was found unresponsive around 1:50 a.m. in the 3400 block of North Kimball Avenue, Chicago police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Area 5 detectives were investigating the death as a homicide.
