A man was hospitalized after a shooting in West Garfield Park Friday afternoon, according to Chicago police.
The man, 21, was standing near the sidewalk in the 4000 block of West Adams Street at 4:07 p.m. when another man walked up to him and opened fire, police said. The man was hit multiple times and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
No one is in custody.
