A man was shot to death on Saturday afternoon in Englewood on the South Side.
The man, 35, was standing on the sidewalk in the 5600 block of South Racine Avenue when someone approached him and fired shots around 4:50 p.m, Chicago police said.
The man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died, police said. His name hasn’t been released.
No arrests were made.
Area 1 detectives are investigating.
