A man was found fatally shot late Friday in West Englewood.
Officers responding to a call of a person shot found the man, identified as 36-year-old Marco Velasquez-Sierra, about 11:55 p.m. in the 6400 block of South Winchester Avenue, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one is in custody.
