‘Onana thought it was funny,’ says Sky Sports commentator as Man Utd star laughs at TEAM-MATE being hit in the privates

ANDRE ONANA couldn’t help but let out a laugh as his Manchester United team-mate took an unfortunate hit to his privates.

Red Devils winger Amad Diallo was struck where no man wants to be during United’s 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.

The young star took a blow below the belt in the second-half of the Premier League bout.

A fierce strike from Palace midfielder Adam Wharton made an unwanted connection with Diallo’s crotch.

The nasty knock would normally result in some sympathy from your team-mates, but Onana had other ideas.

The United ‘keeper appeared amused by the incident instead, seemingly laughing at Diallo’s misfortune.

Fans couldn’t quite believe what they were seeing, taking to social media to react.

One wrote: “LMAO Onana laughing because Amad got hit in the balls”.

While another commented: “Amad getting hit in the balls and Onana laughing. This team is so unserious.”

And a third posted: “Onana is laughing because Amad got hit on the nuts!”

What we know about the ‘new’ Old Trafford

MANCHESTER UNITED plan to build a new stadium rather than redevelop Old Trafford.

The decision was made after a number of fact-finding missions to other stadiums including the Bernabeu and Nou Camp.

The cost of the project is expected to be a staggering £2billion.

A capacity of 100,000 is expected.

It is felt that a club of United’s standing should have a new state-of-the-art facility.

The new stadium will be built on land adjacent to the Red Devils’ current home.

United are looking to not only build a stadium but regenerate the area of Trafford where the ground will stand.

There had been plans to KEEP Old Trafford rather than demolish it, and use it as a scaled down second venue.

However, it’s looking increasing likely that it will in fact be entirely demolished.

The club consulted with 30,000 fans about what to do and believe there is roughly a 50-50 split on staying or moving.

The club have appointed the architects Foster + Partners to come up with a “masterplan”. The company were behind Wembley Stadium.

Old Trafford has been United’s home since 1910.

The target is for completion by 2030.

Sky Sports commentator Rob Hawthorne even chimed in saying: “Onana thought it was funny”.

Diallo will have been quick to forgive Onana for giggling at his awkward injury as the Man Utd No.1 bailed the Red Devils out of dropping all three points soon afterwards.

Onana made a spectacular double save that could have rivalled Arsenal shot-stopper David Raya’s penalty heroics on Thursday night.

The Cameroon international denied a low effort from Eddie Nketiah before hopping straight back up to get his palms on a follow up from Ismaila Sarr.

His opposite number Dean Henderson had been just as impressive throughout the 90 minutes too – helping Palace earn a point when facing a dominant visit from his former club United.
