A 78-year-old man died in a fire Saturday in Englewood on the South Side.
Crews responded to the blaze about noon at a home near 57th Street and Princeton Avenue, according to Chicago police.
The man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Chicago fire officials did not immediately respond to a request for details.
No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
