WWE legend Hulk Hogan lived in a gorgeous home in Clearwater, Florida!
He purchased the home in 2012 for $3.3 million, according to The Sun. He later expanded his real estate portfolio and bought a smaller home right next door for $1.6 million in 2016.
The home was built in 2009 and has five bedrooms, per Realtor. It also has five full baths and two half baths. It is approximately 5,400 square feet and has a long list of luxurious features.
The beachfront property features an elevator, a fireplace, a stunning pool and two spas. It also has a five-car garage.
The outside of the home features a few palm trees. It also has plenty of patio space on both levels of the house.
Hogan’s place is near the Carlouel Yacht Club and close to the gated millionaire enclave Mandalay Point.
Before purchasing his Clearwater home, he was in a massive Tampa mansion that was roughly 17,000 square feet. He let cameras in to film a 2005 episode of “MTV Cribs.” The home was featured on the popular reality TV show âHogan Knows Best.â
The Home Next Door
Hogan also owns the property right next door, according to The New York Post.
This home is a modest 2,000-square-foot home that has a view of the beach for its deck.
The real estate listing at the time described it as follows: âRevel in the glorious sunsets from the beach front deck set among the sand dunes and sea oats. Or take in the panoramic beach view from the spacious great room which offers plenty of room for casual family gatherings.”
The post added, “Journey south on the island to the central business area for casual dining and additional beach activities. Make this your Gulf front getaway.”
Hogan Had Florida Ties
While Hogan was born in Georgia, he was raised in Florida, according to WOFL. He moved to Port Tampa, Florida, when he was a child.
Hogan went on to attend Robinson High School, Hillsborough Community College and the University of South Florida before he ended up dropping out.
The WWE icon went on to open two stores in Florida called Hulk Hogan’s Beach Shop or Hulk Hogan’s Wrestling Shop. There is one in Clearwater, and the other location is in Orlando. He later expanded with one in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Hogan passed away on Thursday, July 24, after paramedics were called to his home. TMZ Sports first reported the news and stated he suffered a cardiac arrest.
