Clip of Angry Maxx Crosby During Raiders Loss Catches Attention

It’s gotta be very difficult for Maxx Crosby not to be frustrated with the Las Vegas Raiders. He continues to play at an All-Pro level, yet the team has only been to the playoffs once in his career.

With Pete Carroll taking over as head coach, the hope was that the Raiders wouldn’t have the type of listless performances that they’ve had for years. Well, that was quickly proven wrong. The Raiders didn’t show up to play in Week 3 against the Washington Commanders and lost 41-24.

While the offense hasn’t been good this season, the defense had its worst game of the year. When the Raiders were trying to mount some sort of comeback in the fourth quarter, the defense blew a coverage and let Luke McCaffrey walk into the end zone for a 43-yard touchdown.

A comeback was unlikely, but that play made it virtually impossible. After the play, cameras caught Crosby, who looked visibly frustrated.

Crosby has had to deal with a lot of these types of games since joining the Raiders, but it’s clear that they aren’t getting any easier. It’s hard to point fingers, as the entire Raiders team was bad in Week 3.

Fans React to Crosby Video

Crosby was the subject of trade rumors last year due to the team’s struggles. This has led to many fans trying to get the star defensive end to go to their team.

It didn’t take long this season for that speculation to start swirling.

“I wish he would have signed with Miami,” one fan commented in response to the video.

“Maxx has been a loyal soldier but there only so much he can endure. Trade him to a contender so he has a chance to get a Super Bowl ring before he calls it quits,” another fan wrote.

“Get away from this disaster, Maxx. Love ya but you’re utterly wasted with these losers,” a fan commented.

Crosby signed a massive three-year contract extension this offseason, which means he’s under Raiders control for five more years. He’s not going anywhere right now. He made his decision to commit to the Raiders, and he’ll have to live with it.

Too Early to Give up on the Raiders?

It’s easy for many to give up on the Raiders now, but they do have the same record as the Kansas City Chiefs at 1-2. Last week, they played the Los Angeles Chargers, who are 3-0 and look like Super Bowl contenders. The Commanders were in the NFC Championship Game last season.

The Raiders clearly aren’t a great team, but the Chicago Bears in Week 4 will be a better test for them. They’re in a similar situation with a new head coach this season and coming off a rough year. If the Raiders look completely lost as they did against the Commanders, then that is a much bigger cause for concern.

It was likely premature to expect too much from this Raiders team in 2025, but they can’t keep getting outclassed, or there will start to be serious questions about the team’s future.
