A man was shot and killed in West Garfield Park Sunday, police said.
The man, 30, was on a porch in the 4400 block of West Monroe Street around 4:15 p.m. when someone fired shots, striking him in the chest, according to Chicago police.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was initially listed in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
No one is in custody. Detectives are investigating.
